Description
BBR Ferrari 575M Maranello 2002 – Nürburgring Silver | 1:18
In 2002, the Italian sports car manufacturer presented a significant evolution of its V12 front-engine concept. The addition M in nomenclature stands for Modified and points to profound technical revisions compared to the previous model series. The body design, penned by Pininfarina, retains the muscular elegance of the original lines, yet integrates specific functional modifications. Redesigned front air intakes specifically optimise the cooling of the engine and braking system, whilst also giving the vehicle a more distinctive and aggressive front end.
A key innovation of this generation was the introduction of the electro-hydraulic F1 gearbox, the technology of which was directly derived from Formula 1 racing. The 1:18 scale model precisely replicates the historical and technical details, authentically documenting the elegant exterior paint combination of Nurburgring Silver with the correct black interior (Interni Neri).
