Following the model designations Modena, Maranello and Enzo, this naming is a fitting tribute to Fiorano, the historic test track not far from the Ferrari factory. With the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, the manufacturer presented the most powerful 12-cylinder Berlinetta in the company's history up to the year 2006. The original vehicle combines technologically advanced constructions in a two-seater concept with a front-mid-engine and set clear standards in the areas of aerodynamics, chassis geometry and design.

For BBR, this miniature has special factory historical significance, as it marks the beginning of the exclusive Made in ItalySeries marked. This is the first 1:18 scale model to be entirely designed and manufactured in the Saronno factory. The entire production process – from the initial design and mould making to painting and final assembly – was carried out 100 percent in-house, underscoring the high standards of Italian model-making excellence.
