BBR Ferrari 599 GTO 2010 – Nürburgring Silver with Yellow Stripe | 1:18

The Ferrari 599 GTO (Gran Turismo Omologata) is among the most significant modern models from Maranello. It was unveiled in 2010 as a road-legal version of the 599XX, which was originally designed exclusively for track use. Production of this vehicle was strictly limited worldwide to exactly 599 copies limited.

Compared to the regular 599 GTB, the design focus was on consistent weight reduction. This was achieved, among other things, through thinner glass, extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre in the bodywork, and a technical interior characterised by Alcantara, 3D fabric, and lightweight carbon racing seats. Among the most striking aerodynamic features were the so-called Wheel Doughnuts, derived from Formula 1 – specific covers on the wheels that reduce air resistance while optimising brake cooling.
