The Ferrari 849 Testarossa was unveiled in 2025 and was a clear reminder of the name first used for the 500 TR in 1956, describing the colour of the cylinder head. The design is a mix of unique, timeless lines, inspired by the sports prototypes of the 1970s, and sharp shapes. A kind of bridge connects the headlights and marks the front of the car, reminiscent of the styling theme already used on the Ferrari 12Cilindri and F80. The shape of the doors acts as real aerodynamic engine cooling ducts. At the rear, two twin tailpipes (inspired by the 512 S of the 1970s) define a patented aerodynamic system. The car, the successor to the SF90 Stradale, is a plug-in hybrid that combines a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with three electric motors to create an impressive powertrain.
