The Ferrari 849 Testarossa was launched in 2025 and was clearly reminiscent of the name that was first used for the 500 TR in 1956 and described the colour of the cylinder head. The design combines unique, timeless lines inspired by the sports prototypes of the 1970s with striking shapes. A kind of bridge connects the headlights and characterises the front section, echoing the design theme of the Ferrari 12Cilindri and F80. The shape of the doors also serves as aerodynamic engine radiators. At the rear, two twin tailpipes (inspired by the 512 S of the 1970s) define a patented aerodynamic system. The car, the successor to the SF90 Stradale, is a plug-in hybrid that combines a biturbo V8 engine with three electric motors to create an impressive powertrain.
