The Assetto Fiorano package for the Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider is a special performance upgrade that achieves a weight reduction of 30 kilograms through the extensive use of carbon fibre and titanium. Aerodynamic optimisations include a set of rear „Twin Wings“ that replace the standard „Twin Tails“ on the body. The paint scheme is complemented by distinctive decorative stripes, which precisely accentuate the vehicle's sporty lines.

As an open-top variant of the range, the Spider features a retractable hardtop (RHT) which can be electrically opened and closed in just 14 seconds. The sports car, presented in 2025, represents a historical nod to the nomenclature first used in 1956 for the 500 TR to describe red-painted cylinder heads. The body design combines sharp contours inspired by the sports prototypes of the 1970s. A functional bridge connects the headlights, echoing the familiar design language of the 12Cilindri and F80. Simultaneously, the deep-profiled doors serve as integrated aerodynamic air ducts for efficient engine cooling.

As the technical successor to the SF90 Stradale, the vehicle uses a modern plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines a V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors into a high-performance unit.
