Description
BBR Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider – Blue Corsa | 1:18
This powerful hybrid sports car's open-top variant features a retractable hardtop (RHT) that can be operated in just 14 seconds. A sophisticated wind deflector system divides the incoming airflow and channels it precisely into two small, low-lying intakes in the seating area.
The concept presented in 2025 is a tribute to the historical naming convention introduced in 1956 with the 500 TR, which traditionally refers to the red-painted cylinder heads. The design language combines sharp, precise lines with design elements from the sports prototypes of the 1970s. The front end, featuring a transverse element connecting the headlights, quotes the current design DNA of the 12Cilindri and F80 models. Technically sophisticated are the specially shaped doors, which function as aerodynamic channels for efficient engine cooling. At the rear, a patented aerodynamic system with stylistic borrowings from the legendary 512 S ensures optimal airflow. As the direct successor to the SF90 Stradale, the vehicle utilises a modern plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a V8 biturbo engine with three electric motors.
