BBR Ferrari Dino 246 GTS 1972 – Red | 1:18

Following the debut of the Ferrari Dino 246 GT in 1969, the need arose to add a Spider variant to the model range. The open-top version was presented to the public at the 1972 Geneva Motor Show. The success of this vehicle is evident from its production figures: out of the approximately 4,000 units of the 246 series produced, 1,200 were delivered as Spiders.

Compared to its direct predecessor, the 206 GT, the Dino 246 brought far-reaching technical modifications. One of the most significant changes concerned the engine block, which dispensed with aluminium and instead relied entirely on robust cast iron.

A characteristic feature of the GTS variant is the removable roof and the distinctive Daytona-style seats. This interior originally required complex craftsmanship, made from many narrow leather strips, which has been faithfully reproduced in this model.
