Description
BBR Ferrari F2002 French GP 2002 Rubens Barrichello | 1:18
To document the successful era of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1, BBR is producing a series of resin models of the cars used from 2000 to 2007. This model represents Rubens Barrichello's Ferrari F2002 at the French Grand Prix, held on 21st July 2002 in Magny-Cours.
While this race went down in history with Michael Schumacher's premature fifth title win, the Grand Prix was over early for his teammate. Due to an electronic defect, Barrichello's F2002 broke down on the starting grid during the formation lap, ending the Brazilian's race prematurely. The 1:18 scale model reproduces the exact specifications of the car from that time.
The closed resin model features a precisely detailed cockpit, complete with authentic safety harnesses made from real textile fabric. A driver figure has been omitted from this version. Delivery includes a suitable display case to protect the model.
