To celebrate the most successful era in Formula 1, BBR is presenting an exclusive model range of the most victorious race cars from the 2000 to 2007 seasons. The present model documents a significant milestone in motorsport history.
At the French Grand Prix on 21 July 2002, held at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, Michael Schumacher secured victory in the race, and with it, his fifth world championship title prematurely. After starting from second position, he took the lead in the early laps and controlled the race until the finish. This eighth win of the season sealed the world championship decision with six races still remaining and meant he equalled Juan Manuel Fangio's historic record.
The precision model, crafted from high-quality resin, is supplied without a driver figure. The cockpit area is accurately reproduced and features real fabric seatbelts. A custom-fit display cabinet is included in the delivery.
