Description
BBR Ferrari F355 GTS Targa Manual Gearbox – Yellow | 1:18
The two-seater mid-engined sports car with an eight-cylinder engine, introduced in 1994, marks a significant technical development stage in the history of the traditional Italian brand. In 1995, the model range was expanded by the GTS version. This retained the characteristic lines of the coupé but featured a classic, detachable targa roof, combining a closed silhouette with the option of an open-air driving experience.
The nomenclature 355 precisely refers to the 3.5-litre displacement and the advanced five-valve technology per cylinder. The manufacturer drew extensively on Formula 1 experience for a production vehicle for the first time in its construction. Technological features such as electronic fuel injection, a flat underbody and an electronically adjustable chassis with „Normal“ and „Sport“ modes controllable from the cockpit defined the state of the art in the sports car segment at the time. Another essential aspect of the real-life model is the aerodynamics developed by Pininfarina, which optimise airflow both in the completely faired underbody and around the bodywork.
This collector's model replicates the manual transmission variant with a true-to-original black interior. It is characterised by an exact reproduction of proportions and precise craftsmanship, authentically reflecting the character of the historical original.
