The Ennea Srl Igol team entered two Ferrari F40 LMs in the 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans, featuring a distinctive yellow and blue livery. The endurance classic proved to be extremely demanding for the F40 cars that year. Car number 44, driven by Luciano Della Noce, Carl Rosenblad, and Anders Olofsson, unfortunately had to retire from the race and did not finish.
