Description
BBR Ferrari F40 LM Le Mans 1996 Team Ennea IGOL #45 – Yellow/Blue | 1:18
In 1996, Team Ennea SRL Igol entered two cars in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, sporting a distinctive yellow and blue livery. The car with starting number 45, driven by Jean-Marc Gounon, Éric Bernard, and Paul Belmondo – the son of the famous actor – proved to be the more successful of the two entries. The trio finished the demanding endurance race in 12th place overall and also secured 6th place in the GT1 category.
A technical highlight of this F40 LM specification is evident in the revised rear-end aerodynamics. A significantly larger rear wing compared to previous years required structural adaptations to mechanically support the new aerodynamic concept. The miniature model precisely reproduces these race-specific modifications and is elaborately painted in authentic dual colours to accurately and faithfully represent its historic racing pedigree.
