Description
BBR Maserati MC Pura Carabinieri | 1:18
On loan from the Stellantis Group to the Italian Arma dei Carabinieri, this high-performance sports car fulfils a special mission: it is used for public service duties as well as the urgent transport of organs and blood plasma in major metropolitan areas. The inspiration for this model marks a historic milestone, as it is the first Maserati in active service with the Carabinieri. To ensure the highest levels of safety and speed on these critical journeys, the operational vehicle features distinctive official vehicle styling, an integrated siren and flashing light system, and modified onboard systems.
The MC Pura, presented in 2025, represents the consistent further development of the MC20 series. It retains the proven carbon fibre monocoque and striking proportions, but focuses on increased formal purity. Subtle aerodynamic optimisations and a front end inspired by the GT2 Stradale significantly improve airflow. The vehicle is powered by the 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine, developed entirely in Modena. Neptune, which produces 630 horsepower.
This collector's model faithfully reproduces the specific details and features of the original Carabinieri patrol car with exact technical precision. It documents a fascinating chapter in modern Italian automotive and law enforcement history.
