Description
BBR Pagani Utopia Roadster Open Roof – Cobalt Gloss Carbon | 1:18
In August 2024, Pagani presented the first version of the Utopia Roadster at Monterey Car Week. This vehicle consistently continues the technical basis of the coupé while integrating its own design elements. The construction of the roof offers the vehicle the possibility of an open or closed configuration.
The Utopia Roadster is the first road vehicle to be equipped with the Pirelli Cyber Tyre System. This sensor technology enables direct communication between the tyres and the vehicle's electronics, benefiting active driving safety. Production is strictly limited to 130 units, with each vehicle being precisely tailored to the future owner's specifications through extensive customisation options.
Following the Zonda and Huayra, the Utopia marks the third major flagship project from the manufacturer in San Cesario sul Panaro and is the result of a six-year development phase. The design inspiration stems from the classic Italian racing tradition of the 1950s and 1960s. Compared to the Zonda, the Utopia exhibits a significantly more flowing design language. Unlike the Huayra, the model forgoes elaborate, active aerodynamic elements at the rear. Instead, the Pagani Utopia relies on aerodynamic guidance fully integrated into the vehicle body. This construction enabled a 20 percent reduction in body components and gives the vehicle a highly aerodynamically efficient profile.
