Description of the original vehicle:

Colonel Godfrey Giles, an Englishman, acquired a Bugatti 57 S chassis in 1937 in order to have a roadster bodied on it. His brother, Eric Giles, took over the design development of the body and the English coachbuilder Corsica produced the bodywork according to these plans. The result was a roadster of beguiling beauty, which was registered with the licence plate GU7 in 1938.
Due to later engine problems, a compressor was retrofitted together with modified pistons as a remedy. This resulted in the new type designation 57 SC (C = Compresseur).
In 1985, the vehicle came into the possession of the well-known classic car collector John Mozart from California. At the end of 1995, John Mozart had the vehicle completely restored. The result was a beautifully restored roadster in dark blue in Mozart's collection, which won the coveted title of „Best of Show“ at the Pebble Beach Concours in 1998.
CMC has recreated the Mozart vehicle in its present-day splendour and almost unadulterated originality as a high-end model in the premium class.
CMC would like to thank Mr Mozart and Bugatti S.A.S - Tradition for their kind support.
