Autobauen war für Ettore Bugatti eine Frage der Vollkommenheit oder anders ausgedrückt, eine Kunstform mit der es galt “in Schönheit zu gestalten”. Mit dem Typ 35 begann eine Periode von ca. sieben Jahren in denen die Marke Bugatti im Motorsport dominierte. Mit unserem „Nation Colour Project“ wollen wir Ihnen die farbenfrohe Rennwagen-Szene der zwanziger- und dreißiger Jahre ins Wohnzimmer bringen. Für jedes Land waren nach dem Grand Prix-Reglement für die startberechtigten Rennwagen Nationalfarben vorgeschrieben. Das hier vorgestellte Modell repräsentiert die länderbezogene Rennwagenlackierung von Chile.

• Hand-assembled metal precision model made from over 930 parts
• Authentic and true-to-scale moulded bodywork
• Blue/white Grand Prix racing livery Belgium (starting number 5 and body lettering fictitious)
• Side-mounted spare wheel with leather strap fastening
• Solid metal front axle painted in silver matt lustre
• Front suspension in typical Bugatti lean angle, i.e. wheels with positive camber
• Double-wing bonnet with perforated cooling slots, hinged and secured with double leather straps
• Frame side members in metal design. Lower longitudinal body side with perforated ventilation slots
• Radiator grille and stone guard in metal design
• Metal leaf springs on front and rear axle with suspension function
• Double-wing tank cap made of stainless steel and can be unscrewed
• Highly detailed 8-cylinder in-line engine with all add-on units and complete pipework / cabling
• Movable external gear lever and handbrake lever
• Movable protective grille on the driver's side
• Prototypical steering box with worm gear
• Double metal exhaust pipe
• Rotating metal engine starter crank handle
• Prototypical metal wheels in cast aluminium design with flange-mounted ribbed brake drum (wheel construction made of 35 parts)
• Wheels removable with original replica four-eared threaded rings
• Different tyre profiles front / rear
• Seats and backrest upholstered in genuine brown leather
• Steering wheel with metal spokes and steering wheel rim with cord wrapping
• Originally designed dashboard in metal-brushed sunburst finish with all round instruments and inserted ignition magneto
• Cockpit hand oil pump lever can be moved

Special feature: Specially manufactured metal body screws with Bugatti-specific moulding. All screws elaborately secured with fine stainless steel wire, true to the original.
