In 1966, Ferrari launched a new competition version of the 275 GTB and designated this series the 275 GTB/C. A total of twelve 275 GTB/C cars were built by Ferrari's racing department in Maranello. History Original Ferrari 275 GTB/C #41

The 275 GTB/C with chassis number 9057 was ordered through Luigi Chinetti, Ferrari's representative for the North American Racing Team (NART), and delivered to its first owner Bob Hutchins on 18 September 1966. He only kept the car for a short time before selling it on to Harley Cluxton via his dealer Chinetti. The car remained in the United States for the next few decades and was often seen at historic events in the 1990s.

In 2010, chassis 9057 was exhibited at the Retromobile classic car fair in Paris and acquired by Vincent Gaye, a Belgian historic racing driver. He refurbished the car to perfection, making it one of the fastest cars of its type today. With its elegant light blue metallic paintwork and starting number 55, chassis 9057 took part in the second Spa Classic in 2012 and the third Spa Classic a year later. Here, the car took first place in Trofeo Nastro Rosso Race 1 and Race 2 for Italian sports cars and GTs built up to 1966.
