The Ferrari 375 MM Spider is a V12 legend of the 1950s. Built for the Mille Miglia with 340 hp and Pinin-Farina bodywork, today it is one of the most exclusive classics. Its power and elegance make it every collector's dream.
The first delivery of chassis no. 362 was made to Tony Parravano on 31.10.53. In the course of the
over the next two years, the vehicle was entered in various SCCA races, mostly with
good success. Less good: on 1 May 1955, Mc Afee went off the track and damaged the
Car strong. The car was actually intended to be built for the 1955 Mexican Road Race,
but the race was cancelled. Frank Arciero bought the car, fitted it with his own
plastic body and later implanted a 4.2 litre V8 Maserati engine.
Ron Kellog bought the car in the 1960s and sold it on to Charles Betz in 1968
and Fred Peters. Until Betz and Peters, in painstaking detail work and extremely lengthy
negotiations had bought together the necessary parts, it was already the year
1986!
The almost complete rebuild, including the restoration of the original condition, took until
2012, after which the car was spotted at various classic car events until 2015, when it was
came to Germany. Since then, the car has been a regular guest at the Mille Miglia - also over
the sale to England in 2023, the current owner is the furniture and interior design company
Industrial designer Marc Newson, who continued the good tradition of presenting the vehicle at the Mille Miglia
continues to show.
