Description
CMC Jaguar C-Type 1952, special model Techno Classica 2020
Jaguar's successful decade in motorsport began in 1949 with the magnificent XK 120 sports car, from which the C-Type was derived for racing in 1951. Apart from the further developed XK 120 engine, it was a completely new design. Jaguar won the overall classification of the endurance races at Le Mans twice with the C-Type. A total of only 53 examples of this racing sports car were produced at the factory in Coventry, four of which were built on lightweight chassis.
