CMC Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W 194), Grand Prix of Berne 1952, #20 Long Limited edition of 1,500 units
The year was 1952, and after Mercedes-Benz's participation in the Mille Miglia, the next race on the calendar was the Swiss Grand Prix in Bremgarten, Bern. As a special highlight for the public, the Bern Grand Prix for racing sports cars with a displacement of over 1.5 litres was also held at the same time. CMC recreated authentic models of each of the participating 300 SL racing coupés.

- Brilliant exterior paintwork with original colour scheme and application of the start numbers using the pad printing process
HISTORY (ORIGINAL VEHICLE)
After extensive development work, the new Mercedes-Benz 300SL (W194) racing coupé - which was unusually sleek and very low at just 1,270 mm in height - was presented to the press on the A81 motorway between Stuttgart and Heilbronn on 12 March 1952.
