The 1984 Monaco GP marked the birth of the legend Ayrton Senna. In the inferior Toleman TG184, the Brazilian raced through the Principality in torrential rain and outclassed the world's elite. From 13th on the grid, he fought his way up to second place and made up seconds per lap on the leading Alain Prost. Only the controversial cancellation of the race on lap 31 prevented Senna's first victory. With the bstial hard turbo engine and his inimitable vehicle control, he proved on this day that in the rain it is not technology but pure talent that decides between victory and defeat.

The development of the original model took over 3,000 hours of labour, while the assembly of each individual piece requires around 350 hours of the finest manual work. Every rivet, every wire and the complex aerodynamics of the striking double rear wing were modelled with surgical precision.
