Only 50 models

Martisan produces 50 models exclusively for us in Racing Livery. Our model is chassis number 4153 GT. This will probably be the only racing version of the Martisan GTO. A special feature of this model is that the throttle valves can be moved using the accelerator pedal!

This vehicle was used for the first time in May 1963 by Pierre Dumay in the 1000 kilometre Nürburgring race. In 1963, Dumay started with the starting number 25 in Lemans. He achieved 4th place in the overall standings and 2nd place in the 3.0 litre class. In the Tour de France Livery 4153GT was already produced by CMC, M-157. In our LeMans Livery the model has not yet been realised in this level of detail in 1:18 scale. Our silver GTO chassis 4153 GT is modelled as it was used by Pierre Dumay at Lemans in 1963. The current owner David McNeil has painstakingly restored this car to its 1963 condition. Anyone wishing to discover all the details should click on this link to view the Youtube video from Pebble Beach 2022 with the GTO.

Movable throttle valves

The bodywork is made of sheet copper, which prevents blistering and ageing of the paint and ensures long-term preservation. All glazing, including the headlight covers, is made of genuine tempered glass. Each model is carefully crafted by professional technicians, with craftsmanship reaching the level of watchmakers and all precision assembly being carried out by a technician in charge.

It is the world's first 1:18 scale static car model equipped with a rear axle differential and the first to use tempered glass, perfectly replicating the effect of real car glass. The precision-crafted brass engine shows all the details of the original.

The realistically proportioned cockpit interior is finely detailed and has a true-to-original texture. The wheels imitate the structure of vacuum tyres and thus achieve the pressure and vacuum effects of a real car. The entire vehicle has 35 functions. Further details are waiting to be discovered by you. The level of detail and the quality of the materials used in the model surpasses that of any known manufacturer. The model is due to be released by Christmas 2025.
