Exclusively at modelcars24: Martisan Ferrari 250 GTO – Chassis 3445 GT „Norinder“ (Targa Florio 1964)
In collaboration with Martisan, we present a strictly limited exclusive series of just 20 pieces worldwide. This 1:18 scale model reproduces the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO with chassis number 3445 GT in its distinctive „Swedish Racing Blue“ livery (blue with a yellow stripe) and is expected to remain the only racing version of the Martisan GTO.
Historical accuracy
Our model shows the vehicle in the exact configuration in which it was used on 26 April 1964 by Swedish racing driver Ulf Norinder and his co-driver Picko Troberg in the legendary Targa Florio, with starting number 112. In this extremely demanding endurance race in Sicily, the duo achieved a strong 9th place overall and 2nd place in their class. The current images show the prototype, which is still being revised.
Unique level of detail & highest craftsmanship in model making
While this iconic chassis has been produced by other manufacturers in the past, our 1:18 scale version sets completely new standards. An outstanding technical highlight of this Martisan model: The throttle linkage can be realistically operated directly via the accelerator pedal!
This model is an absolute masterpiece for discerning collectors, combining significant racing history with uncompromising precision. In terms of detail and material quality, the Martisan Ferrari 250 GTO surpasses everything we've seen in this segment to date. Each example is hand-assembled by a professional technician – with a precision that reaches the level of the most demanding watchmaking.
Innovative Materials & Technical Milestones
- Copper bodywork: The bodywork, as well as the precisely manufactured engine bay structure, are made entirely from copper sheet metal. This prevents blistering and ageing of the paintwork, guaranteeing immaculate, long-term preservation.
- Real hardened glass: As the world's first static 1:18 scale model car, all glazing – including the headlight covers – is made from real, hardened glass, perfectly replicating the optical effect of the original.
- Rear axle differential: Another novelty at this scale is the inclusion of a rear axle differential.
- Authentic tyres: The wheels precisely mimic the structure of vacuum tyres, realistically simulating the pressure conditions and stance of the real vehicle.
- Lifelike cockpit: The precisely proportioned interior impresses with the finest details and lifelike textures, transporting the viewer directly to 1964.
- Movable Mechanics: With a total of 35 moving parts, the model invites you to interactively explore the historical engineering of the original.
- Availability: This exceptional model will be delivered from the end of October 2026.
