The technical development of this vehicle is based on the SF90 Spider and focuses specifically on a significant increase in performance, mechanical grip and responsiveness. At the heart of the modifications are the increased efficiency of the braking system and the comprehensive evolution of the electronic chassis control, which is managed by the innovative digital system „Ferrari Integrated Vehicle Estimator“ (FIVE).

Compared to the base model, the sports car shows a considerable increase in lateral dynamics. This is achieved through a specific set-up and a new generation of tyres, as part of which the weight of the suspension springs has been reduced by 35 per cent. At the same time, a 10 per cent reduction in roll angle maximises aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic wheel camber at high cornering speeds.

The optimised longitudinal acceleration in third gear is the precise result of an improved power-to-weight ratio, the increased performance of the combustion engine at high revs, and a precisely modulated power delivery. This complex engineering achievement has been applied in such a way that the sensitive throttle response in the lower rev range is fully retained.
