Through skillful material selection (e.g. thin aluminium sheets), the omission of decorative parts and unnecessary luxury, he managed to shed a further 100 kg from the DB4 GT. However, even this \u201eradical treatment\u201c did not lead to the hoped-for sporting successes for the Aston Martins, which were powered by 314 bhp.
