Coombs also raced the car at world-famous circuits such as Brands Hatch, Goodwood, Silverstone, Mallory Park, Snetterton and others. The car was then briefly driven by new owner Viscount Portman before the car was no longer used for contemporary racing. Among the subsequent owners was its original driver Jack Sears, who kept # 3729 from 1970 until it was sold to its current American owner.<br \/>\nPrizes won with chassis 3729GT include several second places overall as well as first and second place in class.
