To secure the world championship for themselves, Ferrari entered the race excellently prepared and brought a total of 13 vehicles to the start line, divided between works teams and private entries.<\/p>\n<p>The 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto (SWB), originally presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1959, enjoyed an equally brief but highly successful motorsport career. This model secured numerous class victories and successes, particularly in the 24 Hours of Le Mans races of 1960 and 1961.<\/p>\n<p>This high-quality collector's model accurately depicts the car with race number 21, which was driven that year by Jean Blaton (under the well-known pseudonym Beurlys) and Lucien Bianchi.
