At the 1972 Geneva Motor Show, the new arrival was positively received by automotive experts. The success of the concept is reflected in the production figures: out of approximately 4,000 units of the 246 series built, a considerable 1,200 units were the Spider variant.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to its predecessor, the 206 GT, the Ferrari Dino 246 featured significant technical modifications.
