The Ferrari Testarossa served as the construction basis. For the implementation, the renowned coachbuilder Pininfarina collaborated with motorsport and technology specialists from Prodrive, who already possessed extensive know-how in transmission development.<\/p>\n<p>To integrate the complex electronics and new switchgear into the vehicle's architecture, the radiator had to be relocated to the front. The engine underwent a targeted performance increase, while the exhaust system was profoundly modified and the catalytic converters removed. Externally, too, the vehicle clearly distanced itself from the Testarossa: the completely redesigned carbon fibre body \u2013 a still rare and highly exclusive material in automotive construction at the time \u2013 is characterised by softer, more modern, and very elegant lines.
