Technically, the vehicle is based directly on the Ferrari 550 Maranello Berlinetta, introduced in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike some historical Barchetta models with extremely low or absent windscreens, this variant features a conventional, full-height windscreen. The vehicle is equipped with a manual, flexible fabric roof and is characterised by two distinctive, permanently installed roll bars located directly behind the headrests. The special history of this model is attested to, not least, by prominent former owners such as Formula 1 drivers Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine.
