The Exoto Ferrari Dino 156\/120 Sharknose replicates the model that was used by Count Wolfgang Berghe von Trips at Spa-Francorchamps in 1961. The regulations at the time stipulated a 1.5-litre engine. The cars were significantly smaller and lighter than their predecessors, not only in terms of performance but also visually. Of the total of 8 or 9 cars built, all were later destroyed by Ferrari itself.<\/p>\n
The Ferrari 156 was used from 1961-64. As Ferrari's first mid-engined car, with the concept originating from Carlo Chiti, it was powered by a 1.5-litre V6 engine by Mauro Forghieri. The engine was lightweight and produced 190 hp. The construction of the engine helped the car achieve an extremely low centre of gravity.
