La producci\u00f3n de este veh\u00edculo surgi\u00f3 de una iniciativa de Luigi Chinetti, el importador de Ferrari para Norteam\u00e9rica, que buscaba un sucesor para el 250 California Spyder. En colaboraci\u00f3n con Enzo Ferrari y el carrocero Sergio Scaglietti, solo se fabricaron diez unidades entre 1967 y 1968. La denominaci\u00f3n adicional no oficial honra al North American Racing Team (NART) de Chinetti.<\/p>\n<p>Este modelo representa el primer chasis producido (09437). El coche compiti\u00f3 en las 1967 Horas de Sebring de 12, pilotado por Denise McCluggage y Marianne Rollo. El d\u00fao logr\u00f3 el decimos\u00e9ptimo puesto en la general y el segundo en la clase GT de 5 litros. La carrocer\u00eda luc\u00eda el color original \"Giallo Solare\" para esta carrera, antes de ser repintada posteriormente en burdeos para su aparici\u00f3n en la pel\u00edcula \"El caso Thomas Crown\".<\/p>\n<p>La miniatura fiel a la tradici\u00f3n en escala 1:18 se fabrica y ensambla completamente a mano en la f\u00e1brica BBR en Saronno, Italia.
