Alrededor de 200.000 espectadores se congregaron para esta carrera de resistencia, impulsados por la expectativa de un duelo estrat\u00e9gico entre los veh\u00edculos de 3 litros de Ferrari y los modelos de 2 litros de Porsche.<\/p>\n<p>Ferrari lleg\u00f3 perfectamente preparado y envi\u00f3 un total de 13 veh\u00edculos, distribuidos entre equipos de f\u00e1brica y entradas privadas, a la carrera para decidir el campeonato a su favor. <strong>Ferrari 250 GT SWB (Distancia entre ejes corta)<\/strong>, que se present\u00f3 en el Sal\u00f3n del Autom\u00f3vil de Par\u00eds en 1959, tuvo una carrera deportiva tan corta como exitosa. Especialmente en las 24 Horas de Le Mans de 1960 y 1961, el veh\u00edculo pudo registrar \u00e9xitos notables.<\/p>\n<p>Este modelo de precisi\u00f3n a escala 1:18 reproduce fielmente el veh\u00edculo con el n\u00famero 19 del North American Racing Team (NART), conducido por Ed Hugus y Augie Pabst.
