La production de ce v\u00e9hicule est n\u00e9e de l'initiative de Luigi Chinetti, importateur Ferrari en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, qui recherchait un successeur \u00e0 la 250 California Spyder. En collaboration avec Enzo Ferrari et le carrossier Sergio Scaglietti, seulement dix exemplaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 produits en 1967 et 1968. La d\u00e9signation suppl\u00e9mentaire non officielle rend hommage au North American Racing Team (NART) de Chinetti.<\/p>\n<p>Ce mod\u00e8le repr\u00e9sente le tout premier ch\u00e2ssis produit (09437). La voiture a particip\u00e9 aux 12 Heures de Sebring en 1967, pilot\u00e9e par Denise McCluggage et Marianne Rollo. Le duo a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 la 17\u00e8me place au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et la deuxi\u00e8me place dans la cat\u00e9gorie GT de 5 litres. La carrosserie portait la teinte d'origine \"Giallo Solare\" pour cette course, avant que la voiture ne soit repeinte en bordeaux pour sa participation au film \"L'Affaire Thomas Crown\".<\/p>\n<p>La miniature fid\u00e8le \u00e0 l'originale \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle 1:18 est enti\u00e8rement fabriqu\u00e9e et assembl\u00e9e \u00e0 la main dans la manufacture BBR \u00e0 Saronno, en Italie.
