Techniquement, le v\u00e9hicule est directement bas\u00e9 sur la Ferrari 550 Maranello Berlinetta, introduite en 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 certains mod\u00e8les Barchetta historiques dot\u00e9s de pare-brise extr\u00eamement bas ou inexistants, cette variante est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d'un pare-brise conventionnel pleine hauteur. Le v\u00e9hicule est dot\u00e9 d'une capote souple en tissu manuelle et se distingue par deux arceaux de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fixes pro\u00e9minents situ\u00e9s juste derri\u00e8re les appuie-t\u00eate. L'histoire particuli\u00e8re de ce mod\u00e8le est attest\u00e9e, entre autres, par des propri\u00e9taires c\u00e9l\u00e8bres tels que les pilotes de Formule 1 Michael Schumacher et Eddie Irvine.
