Poich\u00e9 il nuovo regolamento si concentrava sui veicoli GT, Bizzarrini utilizz\u00f2 il collaudato motore V12 da tre litri della serie 250. Sulla base del telaio numero 1791 GT, originariamente appartenente a una 250 GT a passo corto, fu creato un primo prototipo in tempi record.<\/p>\n<p>Questo veicolo storico fu completato fino a met\u00e0 agosto 1961 e pochi giorni dopo fu sottoposto a rigorosi test sul campo al Gran Premio d'Italia a Monza. Oltre a Willy Mairesse, Sterling Moss guid\u00f2 anche l'auto durante le sessioni di allenamento di Formula 1. Con un notevole tempo sul giro di 1:45,4 minuti, il concetto dimostr\u00f2 il suo alto potenziale e indusse Enzo Ferrari a dichiarare che nessun veicolo GT era mai stato in grado di posizionarsi prima delle monoposto.<\/p>\n<p>Questa miniatura in scala 1:18 riproduce il prototipo storicamente significativo in modo dettagliato e fedele ai fatti. Dai dettagli interni contemporanei, alle linee esatte della carrozzeria, fino alla verniciatura specifica dell'auto di test, l'originale \u00e8 stato riprodotto in modo autentico.
