Al Salone dell'Auto di Ginevra del 1972, il nuovo modello \u00e8 stato presentato al pubblico e ha ricevuto un ampio plauso. Il successo commerciale si riflette chiaramente nei numeri di produzione: dei circa 4.000 esemplari della serie 246 prodotti, 1.200 sono usciti dalla fabbrica come spider.<\/p>\n<p>Rispetto al modello precedente 206 GT, la Dino 246 presentava profonde modifiche tecniche, in particolare nel vano motore. Ad esempio, il monoblocco motore non era pi\u00f9 in alluminio, ma completamente in ghisa.
