Ferdinand Porsche non solo ha progettato questo Austro Daimler, chiaramente concepito per le corse, ma ha anche guidato personalmente il team di fabbrica che ottenne i primi tre posti nella impegnativa Prinz Heinrich-Fahrt in Germania su 1944 chilometri e vinse la met\u00e0 dei 16 premi speciali. Con una doppia accensione per ragioni di affidabilit\u00e0, il motore poteva competere con i migliori del suo tempo in termini di potenza per litro. Questo \u00e8 uno dei dieci esemplari di fabbrica costruiti, in seguito fu equipaggiato con un albero cardanico al posto della trasmissione a catena.<\/p>\n
In questo come in altri suoi progetti con Austro Daimler, Ferdinand Porsche ebbe il pieno sostegno del direttore generale Eduard Fischer, che partecip\u00f2 anch'egli personalmente alle gare.<\/p>\n
