Amalgam Ferrari 333 SP 1997 Le Mans – Red | 1:18
After two decades, the 333 SP marked the return of the Italian brand to international prototype racing. Equipped with a modified Formula 1 V12 engine, the car quickly established itself in the world of endurance racing. At the 1997 24 Hours of Le Mans, Gianpiero Moretti, Max Papis and Didier Theys piloted the Moretti Racing car to third place in the LMP class.
This scale miniature, created over a development phase lasting more than 800 hours, is based precisely on the original CAD designs, paint codes and material specifications of Scuderia Ferrari. A small team of specialist artisans assembles each example entirely by hand, utilising the highest quality cast and photo-etched parts as well as CNC-machined metal components. The exact shape was ensured through high-resolution digital scans of the original racing car, guaranteeing complete geometric authenticity.
The officially licensed Le Mans product is available as a closed curbside model executed and places the flawless exterior lines and the precise racing livery in focus. The miniature, which is over 25 centimetres long, is presented on a polished black acrylic base and protected by a transparent dust cover. A stainless steel plaque on the base completes the high-quality appearance of this precise collector's item.
