Description
BBR Ferrari 250 Testarossa 1957 – Yellow | 1:18
Many excellent vehicles have been constructed in Maranello over time, yet few have achieved such historical significance. The 250 Testa Rossa fits seamlessly into this exclusive category. Originally developed for racing and select private customers, the vehicle owes its distinctive name to the striking red paint of its camshaft covers. All original examples were manufactured with left-hand drive.
In the development of this 1:18 scale model, particular attention was paid to the precise construction of the windscreen. A millimetre-accurate replica was created through precise, double photo-etching from shaped steel. The dashboard is a testament to fine craftsmanship, with even the delicate glazing over the individual instruments being reproduced. The steering wheel consists of five separate components and its construction is an exact match to the historical original. The detailed manufacturing is consistently rounded off by exhaust brackets made of real steel.
