Description

Lister Jaguar Costin BHL3 scale Ready-made model 1/8: Precision on a 1:8 scale

Brian Lister's constructions, utilising the legendary Jaguar D-Type powertrain, dominated the racing circuits in the late 1950s. The famous chassis BHL3 began its career in 1958, initially as a works „Knobbly“, and immediately secured impressive victories. For the 1959 season, the car was eventually converted to the significantly more aerodynamic Costin specification. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the racer proved tremendously capable with its 3.0-litre engine, before later starring in the MGM film „The Green Helmet“ and definitively maturing into an automotive legend at events such as the Goodwood Revival.

This fascinating history is now immortalised in a breathtaking 1:8 scale model car. To showcase the aerodynamically efficient body shape of the Costin design in its purest form, the vehicle is deliberately constructed as a classic „kerbside model“. This means the bodywork remains completely closed. With no panel gaps from opening bonnets or doors to interrupt the flowing lines, the pure aesthetics of the historic racing car are showcased entirely undisturbed.

This masterpiece is not manufactured as a classic mass-produced item, but as an absolute one-off. Production is carried out exclusively on individual order to create an exclusive collector's item for the highest demands.
